This essay is of the story called “Becky and The Wheels-and-Brake Boys” by James Berry which is about a girl in Jamaica named Becky who wants to get a bike. This essay is showing what Becky feels, says, and does to prove that Becky is a credible character.
Becky is believable because in the whole story Becky wanted to fit in with The Wheels-and-Brake Boys for she felt that it was just unfair to her that she couldn’t get a bike because she was a girl. She wanted to learn how to ride a bike and wanted one to so she can play with them. Everyone would want to do something that someone else can do so, that can prove Becky is believe able. Becky is credible because of what she said her mom & her friends. For example, Becky asked The Wheels-and-Brake Boys “Can you teach me how to ride?” she also said to The Wheels-and-Brake Boys “Over and over I told my mom I wanted a bike.” And later she tells her mom “I still want to have a bike.” This proves that Becky can be a person that is believe able because everybody will annoy their elders to get whatever they want. Becky is a credible character, for what she does to her close friend named Harnett. In the story Harnett put a cockroach in Becky’s blouse then Becky squashed the bug. While Becky was in the bathroom washing her blouse Shirnette came in the bathroom too then they both started a fight. After that Becky thought “For the first time Shirnette and I had a fight, because of what I hate the most.” Shirnette wanted to get back at Becky for Becky put a centipede in the back of her shirt, once Becky realized she and Harnett made up. This makes Becky credible because all friends have fights sometimes then after they have cooled their jets they make up. These examples prove Becky’s credibility and in the end Becky gets a bike and gets to ride with The Wheels-and-Brake Boys. So maybe this story can teach you if there is a goal that is hard to achieve don’t give up to earn your achievement.
. This essay is of a short story titled “Eleven” by Sandra Cisneros. This story is about a girl named Rachel who was humiliated in her math class on her 11th birthday. These 3 examples are reasons that Rachel is a credible character.
II. Rachel is a credible character because on the time when the teacher asked her class “Who’s ugly sweater is this?” all of the students said “not me”. Then the teacher went to Rachel and thought it was hers, but Rachel was too shy to say a word. You may think that makes her incredible because all of the other students said it wasn’t there’s, but it was an old ugly sweater and almost everybody agrees to there teacher even when they are wrong.
III. When the teacher asked and the class was almost finished answering her question, Felise said it belonged to Rachel and the teacher believed Felise and walks up to Rachel the time when she was shy. When the teacher was about to give Rachel the sweater, Rachel said not mine but utterly and the teacher tells her to put it on and she did. When Rachel put the sweater on, she started to cry then about the time when Recess started Felise told the teacher that the sweater was hers. Rachel crying is normal especially if she is technically is teased and embarrassed by someone in her class, so that makes Rachel credible.
VI. Rachel probably had worse if she feels bad on her birthday do you think you had worse before you shouldn’t because when she comes home that day, she will probably be too sad to just smile about her birthday. You probably don’t understand that pain inside but if something that bad happened people would for surely feel that bad.
V. All of these examples are definitely reasons that help prove Rachel’s credibility and maybe this essay can help those of you who probably make others feel bad because you tease them to think that maybe you should stop for everybody has feelings.
Dear, Mom
Is it okay if I would have a dog? I would like to have a dog because dogs are usually companions with us, they are fun to play wiProxy-Connection: keep-alive Cache-Control: max-age=0 , and they could save our lives. The type of dog I would like to have is a German Sheppard or an Alaskan Husky.
Dogs really can be companions with us if we treat them rightly. They are fun to play with even if they get on you. They can definitely save our lives because they could find us under ruble after an earthquake, sense if we are about to get a seizure, and could guard us from bad people and dogs.
I know that dogs are expensive especially those types of dogs, they’re hard to train, and that you might have to do all the work. Those are true, but I promise that I will train it the best that I can, I will use 90% of my allowance to buy the dog’s needs, and I will most certainly clean up the messes it makes.
So now that you definitely know that I will take responsibility for the dog. Can I pleeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeease have a dog know?
